Kenneth Reed

Kenneth L. Reed, 84, formerly of 52 Bedford Street passed away Monday, September 16, 2013, at Bradford Regional Medical Center.

Born June 30, 1929, in Indian Creek he was the son of the late Edward and Myrtle (Timblin) Reed.

On August 2, 1952 in Bradford, he married Ida M (Henderson) Reed who died April 10, 1995.

Mr. Reed attended Bradford area schools. He had worked at Bovaird and Seyfang Co. and then as a truck driver and welder at National Transit Company.

He was a former member of Grace Lutheran Church, a member of the Blue Lodge 334 F&AM Coudersport Consistory, McKean County Shrine Club, ZemZem Roadrunners, Orak Grotto, Joey Clowns, Marche Club, American Legion Post # 108, Eagles Club, Italian Club and the VFW. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and going to his camp. His favorite pastime was spending time with his grandkids.

Surviving is a son, Donald (Tippy) Felmlee, of Bradford, two grandchildren, James (Rhonda) Felmlee of Bradford and Jody Butler of Delevan, NY, six great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one sister June Close, three brothers Victor, Andrew, and Lester Reed.

Family will be receiving friends on Saturday, September 21, 2013, from 11:00 to Noon at Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. East Main St. where a Masonic Service will be held at 11:55am, followed by funeral and committal services with Rev. Patrick Cox, Pastor of the Grace Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.
