Obituary
Theresa Carpenter

Theresa A. Carpenter, 62, of 11 Fairview Drive, loving and compassionate angel of mercy went to be with the Lord, Sunday, September 15, 2013 at Bradford Regional Medical Center.

Born November 5, 1950 in Bradford she was the daughter and first child of the late Joseph "Smokey" and Loris (Woodin) Curcio.

Mrs. Carpenter was a resident of the area all of her life. She was a 1968 graduate of Bradford High School.

On April 28, 1973 in St. Bernard Church she married the love of her life, Darel E. Carpenter, who died on March 15, 2007.

Mrs. Carpenter furthered her education at JCC in Olean, graduating with a Math/Science and applied science of Nursing Degrees. She then attended the University of Pittsburgh, Bradford Campus to further her nursing career. She had worked at BRMC, local nursing homes, Homes Health Care for pediatrics, and Sena Kean Manor. Mrs. Carpenter retired in March 2007 due to ill health. She was extremely dedicated, and loved caring for the elderly and pediatrics.

She was a member of St. Bernard Church.

Surviving is a beautiful and caring daughter, Kristie Anne (Corey) Chase of Eldred, two sweet and close to her heart grandchildren, Holley Anne Chase and Michael Chase, three brothers, Michael (Jan) Curcio, James (Becky) Curcio and Joseph (Jill) Curcio, an especially wonderful sister Mary (Robert) Culver, whom she dearly loved, two nieces, Amber Curcio and Beth Curcio, three nephews, Andy (Isabelle) Culver, Nick (Jenifer) Culver, and Chris (Rebecca) Curcio, all of which she loved like her own children, grand nieces and grand nephews, Katie, Julie, Oliver, and Aiden Curcio, Chloe, Claire and Camden Culver, also and several cousins including Fred (Debbie) Bouquin.

She is peacefully at rest and will join her loving husband Darel, whom she missed very much, for an everlasting life in Heaven.

She asked for her loved ones to live and enjoy life everyday to its fullness, not to worry and be happy. She will always be in your hearts, forever watch over, and guide you especially keeping you safe. Will send you roses of love.

Family will be receiving friends on Friday, September, 20, 2013 from 1:30pm to 2:00pm in St. Bernard Church, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00pm Rev. Raymond Gramata, pastor as Celebrant. Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Caill Funeral Homes, Inc.
