Pitt-Bradford Celebrates Founders' Day
The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford celebrated Founders’ Day today with a party on the quad and the unveiling of the new bronze panther statue sculpted by Bradford native Dave Hodges.
The panther statue is near the main door of the Frame-Westerberg Commons. You can see a video of the unveiling here.
It was 50 years ago today that the first classes were held in Bradford for fewer than 300 students. Today, the university has nearly 1,600 students.
We'll have more on this story later this afternoon.
