Wrong-Way Driver Facing Drug Charges
Going the wrong way down a one-way street led to drug charges against a Bradford teenager.
18-year-old Richard Anderson was stopped at about 8:15 p.m. on June 6 for going the wrong way on Pleasant Street. After giving him a citation, police asked if they could search his vehicle. They found suspected marijuana and a smoking device that smelled like burnt marijuana, according to papers filed in District Judge Dominic Cercone’s office.
Charges of possession of marijuana, use and possession of drug paraphernalia and driving the wrong way were bound to McKean County Court following a preliminary hearing. Anderson is free on unsecured bail.
