New Charges in Local Meth Lab Case

New charges have been filed against a man accused of running meth labs in Bradford and Mount Jewett.

Jeffery Casbisca was arrested in September, in Bradford, after a meth lab was found in a King Street house, where he had been living for about a month. Charges of operating a meth lab and possession in connection to the Bradford meth lab were not filed by the state attorney general’s office until today.

In the Mount Jewett case, Cabisca, Kelsey Cabisca and Jennifer Shugars are accused of buying ingredients used to make methamphetamine more than 230 times from at least 30 stores.

He and Shugars waived their preliminary hearings on the Mount Jewett charges and remain in McKean County Jail on $50,000 bail. Kelsey Cabisca’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for November 18.
