Ben Caserio

Bernard B. “Ben” Caserio, 85, of Bradford, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2013 at the Bradford Regional Medical Center.

He was born on June 25, 1928 in Bradford a son of the late Patsy and Anita Basile Caserio.

He was employed by the former Airco Speer Electronics for twenty five years until his retirement in 1976.

In his younger days he was a talented tennis player who was a former Junior Champion. He was an avid Notre Dame Football fan. He also enjoyed spending time with his family.

He was a member of the St. Bernard Catholic Church, the La Stella Lodge and the Italian American Progressive Club.

He is survived by one brother, Tony (Betty) Caserio, Bradford and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by one brother, Richard Caserio, two sisters, Camille Palumbo, Josephine Colosimo and one nephew, Anthony “Pat” Colosimo.

At the family’s request the visitation will be private. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at the St. Bernard Catholic Church with the Rev. Raymond Gramata as celebrant.

Burial and committal services will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in his memory can be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Ave., 7th floor, New York, NY 10001.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Mascho Funeral Home, Inc.
