Having Sex with Young Children

Two Olean men have pleaded not guilty to having sex with children younger than 11 in separate cases.

Prosecutors say 52-year-old Leonard Everitt had sexual contact with the child between 2000 and 2002 in the City of Olean. He was indicted by a grand jury for criminal sexual act, sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child.

56-year-old Richard Stanton Sr. is accused of having sexual contact with a child on May 17 in the City of Olean. He is charged with first degree sexual abuse.

Both cases have been adjourned for motions.
