Man Who Threatened Police Waives Hearing
A Kane man accused of biting, kicking and threatening police officers who were searching his home for drugs and paraphernalia has waived his preliminary hearing.
Police had been called to a home in the borough for a domestic incident and learned that people in the house had been using drugs. While police were searching the house 19-year-old Matthew Confer called them vulgar names. Later, he kicked one police officer and bit the other’s hand. He also spit at one officer and told them he was going to put them on top of his hit list and kill them, according to court papers.
Confer is in McKean County Jail on $50,000 bail.
