Bradford Men Arrested in Chautauqua County

Two Bradford men were sent to Chautauqua County Jail after a traffic stop on Interstate 86 this morning.

After police stopped the vehicle driven by 36-year-old Martin Gomez, they noticed a strong smell of alcohol. Gomez failed field sobriety tests and was arrested for driving while intoxicated, according to the news release obtained by WESB.

Then K-9 officer Kubi searched the vehicle and found drugs, leading to more charges against Gomez as well as charges against his 18-year-old passenger, Andrew Owens.

Bail for Gomez was set at $1,000. It was $500 for Owens.
