Charges Against Man Accused of
Assaulting Bradford Toddler Bound to Court

Charges against man accused giving a two-year-old Bradford boy a concussion and other serious injuries have been bound to McKean County Court.

45-year-old Olivar Gonzalez-Iriarte hit the child in the abdomen and head, and also choked him, according to papers provided to WESB by District Judge Dominic Cercone’s office. He blamed the little boy’s four-year-old sister for the injuries, but she wouldn’t back down from pointing the finger at Gonzalez-Iriarate.

< The two-year-old had to be treated at an out-of-town hospital.

Gonzalez-Iriarte is charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and recklessly endangering another person. He remains in McKean County Jail without bail following today's preliminary hearing.
