ADA Fired After Domestic Incident
An assistant district attorney in Wyoming County, New York, was arrested in connection to a domestic incident, and then fired.
33-year-old Marshall Kelly had been an assistant DA for about four years. Sunday morning he was charged with assault and criminal trespass following the domestic in the Village of Attica.
District Attorney David O’Geen told the sheriff’s department to seize Kelly’s credentials, and then fired him, saying his office has always taken a strong stance against domestic violence and this type of behavior will not be tolerated in any form, according to a news release.
Genesee County District Attorney Larry Friedman was appointed as special prosecutor in the case.
