Two Hurt in Chautauqua Crash

Two people were hurt in a crash at about 12:15 this afternoon in Chautauqua.

Sheriff’s deputies say 38-year-old Scott Boardman was traveling north on Route 394 when 22-year-old Edward Schlabach was coming out of the parking lot of Light House Grocery and their vehicles collided.

Schlabach had to be freed from his vehicle and was then flown to UPMC Hamot in Erie. Boardman’s passenger 37-year-old Autumn Boardman was flown to Hamot for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Deputies are continuing their investigation and say charges are pending.
