Westfield Man Electrocuted

A man was electrocuted while trying to move a low hanging live wire Saturday afternoon.

State Police say Westfield Electric Superintendent 62-year-old William Boneberg of Westfield was trying to move the wire on Route 20 when the line broke, fell and landed on him. Boneberg was pronounced dead at the scene.

Troopers say this was an accident and no foul play is suspected.
