James A. Luciano, 81 of Bradford, passed away on Friday, September 26, 2014 at the Bradford Ecumenical Home.

He was born on July 25, 1933 in Bradford, a son of the late John and Anna Mae Tingley Luciano.

He was a graduate of the Bradford Area High School.

On October 27, 1956 he married Jane E. Lindquist who survives.

He was a member of the St. Bernard Catholic Church, the La Stella Lodge and of 50+. He enjoyed collecting antique cars.

He was a U.S. Army veteran who served from June, 1951 until August 1952.

In 1972 he started J.A. Luciano Builders; which he owned with his wife until his retirement at which time the business was passed down to his sons.

In addition to his wife of 57 years, Jane E. Luciano of Bradford he is also survived by two sons, Michael (Jean) Luciano and Mark (Tammy) Luciano both of Bradford; three daughters, Amy (Joe) Frombach, Beth (Andrew) Burgoon and Karen (Joseph) Roulo all of Bradford; one brother, Dan (Barb) Luciano of Cincinnati, OH; one sister, Rita Pais of Duke Center; sixteen grandchildren, one great grandson and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Don Luciano and Joe Luciano.

At the family’s request there will be no visitation; friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at 12:00 PM at the St. Bernard Catholic Church with the Rev. Raymond Gramata as celebrant.

Burial and military honors will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorial contributions in his name be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Mascho Funeral Home, Inc.
