Man Sentenced for Killing Bradford Native
The Massachusetts man who killed a Bradford man in his New York City apartment three years ago has been sentenced. 33-year-old Alexys Fermaintt stabbed Michael Pecora a number of times, then stole his laptop, cell phone and watch. He pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter in June. Even before today’s sentencing, the judge in the case indicated that he would sentence Fermaintt to up to 20 years in prison.
