Bradford Man Wants to
Install Floor at White House

President Barack Obama is making a couple of changes to the White House, and one of them will be installation of a basketball court/gym floor. Mark Pessia of The Carpet Store on East Washington Street told Bill O'Reilly this afternoon on "The Radio Factor" that he'd be willing to do that. O'Reilly told Pessia Obama would be "very smart to hire a guy like you, in Bradford, Pennsylvania, who's trying to make it, to install that floor." O'Reilly suggested that Pessia send a registered letter to Senior White House adviser David Axelrod telling him that he (Pessia) is a small businessman, trying his hardest and he'd like to put in that floor. He also suggested that Pessia's letter say "I'll donate my services to my country. So, how 'bout it?" O'Reilly said Pessia has a "one in 100 chance – but it's a chance." (Later, he said it's probably a one in 1,000 chance but "what does he have to lose?") ...

To Our WESB Listeners:

It's not our decision to replace Bill O'Reilly. O'Reilly is leaving radio to concentrate on his television show. The show will replace The Radio Factor with Bill O'Reilly when the program ends its successful six-year run on February 27, 2009." Read the story HERE . We have not decided yet whether to run The Fred Thompson Show, or something else. But, no matter how many e-mails you send us telling us not to drop O'Reilly, we have no choice.

Jim Kelly on O'Reilly

In case you missed it, Hall of Fame quarterback Jim Kelly was on The Radio Factor with Bill O'Reilly this afternoon. Kelly is in New York City to kick off a national campaign to increase awareness and advocate for universal newborn screening. He talked about his son Hunter, who was 8 years old when he died of Krabbe Disease three years ago. "Hunter was diagnosed at four months," Kelly said. "If he was diagnosed at birth we could have done something." Dan Marino, Eli Manning, Bruce Smith and Thurman Thomas were among the people who attended a kick-off event Monday night in New York. Heinz Pulls Mayo Ad

LONDON (AP) — Heinz Co. said viewer complaints prompted it to pull a British television advertisement for mayonnaise that showed two men kissing. The ad for Heinz Deli Mayo depicted a kitchen scene involving two children, a father and a male deli cook with a New York accent, whom the children addressed as "Mum." At the end of the ad, the cook kisses the father as he leaves for work. The Advertising Standards Authority said it received 202 complaints, some that said the advertisement was offensive, inappropriate and unsuitable for children. Heinz said the ad was withdrawn because of "consumer feedback." Spokesman Nigel Dickie said Tuesday that the Pittsburgh-based company apologized if it had offended anyone. Fox News host Bill O'Reilly complained about the advertisement on Friday during his show, "The O'Reilly Factor." "I just want mayonnaise. I don't want guys kissing," he said. British gay rights group Stonewall said it was shocked ...
