Accidental Shooting Near Tracy Ridge
A West Chester man was accidentally shot by a Philadelphia man near Tracy Ridge Campground Saturday morning. Police say 24-year-old James Ferry shot a pistol that hit 24-year-old Bryan Lawler in the thighs. Ferry drove Lawler to Kane Community Hospital. Lawler was then taken to UPMC Hamot. The two men were in a wooded area off Route 321 when the shooting happened at 1:40 a.m. The state game commission and McKean County District Attorney’s office are assisting in the investigation.
