A Kill Buck woman is accused of selling crack cocaine. The Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force say 29-year-old Leah Thomas sold the crack in Great Valley in January. She’s charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance. Also, the task force picked up 33-year-old Jermaine Bordeaux of Buffalo on a parole warrant. Heroin, a weapon and marijuana were found during a raid of a Salamanca house. The Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force found the drugs and a .40-caliber Glock 27 handgun at 94 Jefferson Street, where they arrested 19-year-old Thomas Oldshield. Police say the serial number of the gun had been removed. They also found, and removed, ammunition for the gun. They also found counterfeit money. A woman accused of selling heroin, oxycodone, hydrocodone and Fentanyl to agents with the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force is facing a number of charges. 38-year-old Nealie Lindsler-Crowley of Buffalo was arrested over the weekend in Salamanca in connection to incidents from January to August of last year. Two Salamanca residents are in Cattaraugus County Jail for selling drugs to undercover agents with the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force in Randolph. 21-year-old Michael Doner is accused of selling heroin. 37-year-old Mary Mosley is accused of selling cocaine. A man has been picked up by the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force for selling heroin. The task force says 19-year-old Brian Doner of Randolph sold the drug earlier this year on two separate occasions in the village. Doner is charged with two felony counts each of criminal possession of and criminal sale of a controlled substance. He was sent to Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail. A couple from Buffalo is facing charges in Cattaraugus County after drugs were found in their vehicle during a traffic stop last night in Salamanca. 27-year-old Otis Williams Jr. and 24-year-old Brittany Copeland are each charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance. Crack cocaine, suspected heroin and marijuana were found during a raid of a Town of Great Valley home last night. 35-year-old Carl Simons of Great Valley and 32-yea-rold Raymond Jemison of Buffalo are now charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell. They are in Cattaraugus County Jail on $7,500 bail each. The Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force and Seneca Nation Marshals found six grams of crack along with the other drugs. Police found a meth lab Saturday morning while they were checking on the welfare of a person at a trailer park. They were called to Ellicott Estates in Portland at 10:45 a.m. to check on the welfare of a person. When they got there 29-year-old Susan Spontaneo told them there may be a problem with 35-year-old Austin Spyer. When a deputy when inside the trailer he found a working meth lab. Spontaneo, Spyer and 40-year-old Brian Saden were detained while the Chautauqua County Hazmat team, Portland and Brocton fire departments, the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force and the DEA Clandestine Lab Team were called to the scene. Spontaneo, Spyer and Saden are in jail without bail while authorities decide whether they will be prosecuted at the state or federal level. The news leader of the Twin Tiers ... since 1947

The Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force has arrested an Olean woman following two separate incidents in Olean. The task force say 30-year-old Laurie Lawall sold controlled substances to another person. She’s charged with two counts each of criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal sale of a controlled substance, which are both felonies. After finding $500 worth of crack cocaine in a Salamanca home, the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force arrested a man who lives there and a Limestone resident. The task force says the warrant executed at 12:30 this morning on Quilter Avenue netted about 5 grams of crack and about $600 in cash, along with scales and paraphernalia. 32-year-old Cain McKnight of Salamanca is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance. 28-year-old Dusti Ginnery is charged with criminal sale and possession of a controlled substance, as well as criminal sale of marijuana. A Little Valley woman is accused of supplying several Salamanca residents with controlled substances. The Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force says the arrest of 25-year-old Amanda Calkins was the result of a transaction they saw, which led to a traffic stop in the Town of Ellicottville, where she had several hydrocodone pills. Calkins is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was sent to Cattaraugus County Jail on $750 cash bail. The news leader of the Twin Tiers ... since 1947

One person is facing drug charges, and more charges are pending, following an investigation by the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force. 21-year-old Alexander Carpenter of Allegany was arrested Tuesday afternoon on Fulton Street in Olean and charged with felony counts of criminal sale and possession of a controlled substance. The Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force found $8,500 worth of cocaine and $5,000 in cash during a search at an Allegany man’s house Thursday night. 30-year-old Thomas Stanczykowski is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance. Police also found scales and paraphernalia, a large quantity of pills and weapons. They say the arrest came after investigation of several months into the sale and trafficking of illegal drugs in the Allegany, Olean and Salamanca areas. They say more arrests are expected. $1,000 worth of heroin, along with drug paraphernalia, marijuana and cash were seized in a raid of an Olean house late last night by the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force. The task force searched 309 North Sixth Street, where they found the heroin, cash and paraphernalia, as well as marijuana and packaging material. 22-year-old Joshua Small of Buffalo and 32-year-old Justin Vreeland of Olean are each charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance. Three people are facing charges after a drug bust in Salamanca over the weekend. The Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force says when they went into the house on Bucktooth Road they found a marijuana growing operation, several pounds of packaged marijuana, 5 grams of cocaine, prescription pills, drug paraphernalia and money. They arrested 57-year-old Steven Little, 38-year-old Holly Zawatski and 38-year-old Nikol Stellabuto for criminal possession of a controlled substance. All three are free on their own recognizance. Four people have been picked up by the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force. 27-year-old Carmen Burney and Kellee Lewis, both of Olean, and 29-year-old Pierre Morgan and 29-year-old Justin Vance, both of Buffalo, are each charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance. They were charged after a search warrant was executed at Lewis’s home early this morning and the task force, along with the Olean City Police Street Crimes Unit, found crack cocaine. A Kill Buck man is accused of having heroin on Route 417 in the Town of Carrollton. The Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force arrested 23-year-old William Rodriguez Thursday night after he was found with the heroin during a traffic stop. Two Kill Buck residents are in Cattaraugus County Jail for having heroin and crack cocaine with the intent to sell it. The Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force arrested 43-year-old Maria Jimerson and 49-year-old Terrance Smith after they found the drugs at their home while executing a search warrant this morning. The Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force arrested a Pennsylvania man on non-drug charges. 37-year-old William Shutt of Genesee was picked up from the State Correctional Institution in Houtzdale and taken to the Town of Independence, New York, where he was arraigned on charges of criminal sale of a firearm and criminal possession of stolen property. The charges stem from an incident in March of 2012 when Shutt allegedly had a stolen handgun and then sold it to a convicted felon. He’s in Allegany County Jail without bail. Three people are facing drug charges following an investigation by the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force. 37-year-old David Dickinson and 28-year-old Robert Harris, both of Buffalo, along with 34-year-old April Kuhn of Salamanca were charged after investigators found suspected cocaine in Kuhn’s home. They are each charged with a felony count of possession of a controlled substance. The sheriff’s department says more charges are pending the completion of the investigation. Kuhn is already facing another charge of possession for allegedly having cocaine with her during a traffic stop early last month. The news leader of the Twin Tiers ... since 1947
