Six Interdisciplinary Arts Students to Exhibit Final Projects at Pitt-Bradford
By Kimberly Marcott Weinberg Assistant Director of Communications and Marketing Six seniors in the interdisciplinary arts program at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford will exhibit their senior projects next week. Students in the interdisciplinary arts program choose two arts areas to study and must integrate skills from both arts into their final project. All projects are free and open to the public. Kong Ho, associate professor of art and interdisciplinary arts program director said, “It seems that just yesterday, I was watching our six interdisciplinary arts graduates searching for their individual directions, and now here they are with their nearly completed very strong and well-developed capstone projects. I am very pleased to see how they have integrated visual and performing art into their unique capstone projects which transgress the boundaries between these two historically distinct but currently converging forms of art.” The week beg...
