PA Man Jailed in New York
The Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force arrested a Pennsylvania man on non-drug charges.
37-year-old William Shutt of Genesee was picked up from the State Correctional Institution in Houtzdale and taken to the Town of Independence, New York, where he was arraigned on charges of criminal sale of a firearm and criminal possession of stolen property.
The charges stem from an incident in March of 2012 when Shutt allegedly had a stolen handgun and then sold it to a convicted felon.
He’s in Allegany County Jail without bail.
