Accident Damages Austin Police Car

A Portage man suffered minor injuries when his car hit a utility pole that fell onto parked police car in the borough of Austin at 6:40 Tuesday morning. Police say Donald Bento was driving on Railroad Street when the car left the road, traveled on private lawns then hit a utility pole, breaking into three pieces. One of the pieces fell onto the parked police car. The live power lines also ignited a fire at the back of Bento's car. Bento was taken to the hospital for treatment of his injuries. Allegheny Power cut the power to the live lines. Police are continuing their investigation.

Woman Charged with Posting
Nude Picture on Facebook

A Falconer, New York, woman is facing charges after allegedly posting a naked photo of a Warren woman on Facebook. Police say 22-year-old Lindsay Head posted the picture without the consent of the 21-year-old victim, who is dating Head's ex-boyfriend. Head is charged with dispersing obscene and sexual materials. The picture has been removed from Facebook.

Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
