Coudersport Man Confesses

A Coudersport man has confessed to sexually abusing two Potter County girls starting in 1995, when one of the girls was three years old. 46-year-old David Alan Thomas confessed to state police that he raped and molested the girls, who are now 12 and 16. State police arrested Thomas on one set of charges on July 13, after he allegedly raped a 12-year-old girl while they were camping. The incident generated a comprehensive police investigation. During the investigation, police interviewed the 12-year-old girl and a 16-year-old girl, among others. Thomas is charged with six counts of rape, five counts of corrupting the morals of minors, three counts of aggravated assault and related offenses. Thomas is in jail on $450,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for August 18.

Woman Charged with Posting
Nude Picture on Facebook

A Falconer, New York, woman is facing charges after allegedly posting a naked photo of a Warren woman on Facebook. Police say 22-year-old Lindsay Head posted the picture without the consent of the 21-year-old victim, who is dating Head's ex-boyfriend. Head is charged with dispersing obscene and sexual materials. The picture has been removed from Facebook.

Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
