Man Charged for Stealing Candy
A Dunkirk man apparently couldn't wait until Halloween for free candy.
18-year-old Demarcus Bess went to the Tops Market in Dunkirk last night and allegedly put 3 bags of bulk candy into a backpack then left the store without paying for it.
Sheriff's Deputies found Bess walking away from the store and recovered the stolen candy.
Bess was charged with petit larceny and issued an appearance ticket for Town of Dunkirk Court.
