A Hamlin, New York man has pleaded guilty to attempted criminal sale of marijuana. Prosecutors say 23-year-old Martin Emrich attempted to sell more than 16 ounces of marijuana on May 2 in the Village of Allegany. Emrich will be sentenced on February 9.

An Olean man has pleaded guilty to assault in connection with an incident when he seriously injured another person during a break-in. Alfonso Flores, and another person, remained in a house unlawfully, then injured two people. Flores will be sentenced January 5.

An Olean woman has been sentenced to one to three years in state prison for a scheme to defraud Olean residents, and for escaping from police. 23-year-old Christine McDonald was going door-to-door in her scheme to defraud Olean residents of money. While being arrested on those charges, she escaped from police. The incidents happened between June 1 and July 15.

Woman Charged with Posting
Nude Picture on Facebook

A Falconer, New York, woman is facing charges after allegedly posting a naked photo of a Warren woman on Facebook. Police say 22-year-old Lindsay Head posted the picture without the consent of the 21-year-old victim, who is dating Head's ex-boyfriend. Head is charged with dispersing obscene and sexual materials. The picture has been removed from Facebook.

Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
