From Tops Markets ...

WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. – Tops Friendly Markets, the leading full-service grocery retailer in Western New York, Central New York, including Rochester, and Northwestern Pennsylvania, announced today that several varieties of health bars, including Cliff Bars, Luna Bars, ZonePerfect and NutriPals Nutrition Bars, Nature’s Path Organic Bars, and Health Valley Granola Bars have been added to the list of recalled products as the U.S. Food and Drug Administration continues to investigate a multi-state salmonella outbreak linked to peanut butter products. The removal of these products is a precautionary measure, and based on the current state of the investigation, the FDA recommends that consumers avoid eating products that have been recalled and discard them.

A complete list of recalled items is available at www.topsmarkets.com under product recalls. Please refer to this list, as some manufacturers have recalled multiple UPCs or varieties. Tops will continue to update the list when/if new recalls are announced.
