PNC Chief Flew Jet to Super Bowl

PNC Financial Services Group CEO James Rohr and clients of PNC flew on a corporate jet to the Super Bowl game in Tampa, Fla., a bank spokesman said today.

Rohr was joined by several clients for the trip to the big game on Feb. 1, said spokesman Fred Solomon, who declined to name them.

PNC received $7.6 billion in government aid Dec. 31 when it acquired National City Corp.

Rohr's abuse goes as far as flying around the country looking for a horse for his daughter, paid for by stock holders. There are also retired execs who have use of corp jets at company expense for personal vacations. I have also heard of other execs flying friends to vegas during basketball playoffs to party and watch the games. All on our dime.
