Update on Isa
The searchers did not find Isa on Saturday afternoon, but they did find out how she's been traveling around town. From Talk About Bradford: There is a storm drain at the very top of Lincoln avenue where the street ends, and her little tiny paw prints go inside a round drain big enough for her, but too small for other wild animals. This drain come out on Parkview avenue which runs in between both sets of Rose terrace apartments (the upper and the lower).
Isa has been traveling that drain which I believe catches water run off from the hill, and most likely had no water running off when it was too cold. This gave her ways to disappear and reappear, lol, as well as a place to get out of the cold and the snow and wind."
SPCA Humane Officer Tony Danias has given a trap -- and a blanket from Isa's previous owners - to a friend of his in the area who is an excellent trapper. Everyone is keeping their fingers crossed. In the meantime, if you see Isa you can call the McKean County SPCA, 362-8850.
