DuBois Couple Stabbed in Home

A DuBois husband and wife are hospitalized and their son is charged with stabbing them in their home Sunday night.

Police say Olivette Fogg called them to report that she and her husband James had been stabbed during a domestic dispute. They locked themselves in the bathroom to escape from Michael Lanigan, who had a utility knife.

While police were on their way to the house, Lanigan got into the bathroom and assaulted the couple again.

When police arrived, Lanigan dropped the knife and did not resist arrest.

UPDATE:
The Foggs were airlifted to Altoona Regional Hospital, where he is in critical condition and she is in serious condition. Lanigan is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday.
