Man Jailed for Running from Cops

A Kane man was sent to jail after allegedly trying to run away from police twice.

Kane Police stopped 19-year-old Zachary Anderson of Hemlock Avenue while walking on Park Avenue early Sunday morning. He ran from them and, when police caught up with him he resisted arrested. While he was handcuffed, he ran again, and was caught again.

Anderson was charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, escape from law enforcement officers and underage purchase and consumption of alcohol.

He was sent to McKean County Jail on $10,000 bail.
