Trooper Hurt in High-Speed Chase
A state police trooper was hurt when his cruiser rolled over during a high-speed chase on Route 6 over the weekend.
43-year-old Corporal Brian Fronk was treated for moderate injuries at Corry Memorial Hospital.
Fronk was chasing a motorcycle driven by 21-year-old James Burger of Meadville when the cruiser slid off the road, hit an embankment and flipped over. The motorcycle crashed a short time later. Burger and his passenger,19-year-old Sally Rizzo of Williamsport, sustained minor injuries.
