Lanigan Hearing Postponed Again

The hearing for a DuBois man accused of trying to kill his parents has been postponed again.

50-year-old Michael Edward Lanigan is accused of stabbing his parents, James and Olivette Fogg, with a knife on March 15 in their home. He was allegedly still assaulting them when police arrived.

Lanigan was scheduled for a preliminary hearing this month, but that's been postponed until September. He's in Warren State Hospital, where he is being evaluated.

He is charged with two counts each of criminal attempt to commit homicide, aggravated assault, assault and recklessly endangering another person.
