Flash Flood Warning in Effect

The flash flood watch has been upgraded to a flash flood warning, according to News 4 Meteorologist Mike Cejka.

The warning is in effect until 6:15 p.m. for western McKean County, northwestern Elk County and all of Warren County.

Radar is indicating very heavy rain from training thunderstorms redeveloping just to the south of Warren County. This area of very heavy rain will likely expand to the northeast across the rest of the warned area during the mid to late afternoon hours.

The warning includes, but is not limited to Kane, Warren, Johnsonburg, Grand Valley and Sheffield.

Some areas could get 3 inches of rain on top of what's already fallen.
