Well, At Least it Worked
A Bradford Township woman who was trying to get bees out of her chimney ended up with a chimney fire.
Bradford Township Volunteer Fire Department Chief Dan Burkhouse says the woman lit a fire in the fireplace in an attempt to smoke out a nest of bees, but the chimney caught on fire.
About 20 firefighters were on the scene for about 45 minutes last night, putting out the fire, cleaning out the chimney and clearing the house of smoke.
By the way, it worked. The bees were driven out.
