Horn Joins CCMH Wound Center

Charles Cole Memorial Hospital has announced that Dr. Frank Horn will join the hospital’s Wound Care Center.

Dr. Horn will see patients at the Wound Center with Dr. Bryan Neff and Vicki Copp, RN, certified wound care specialist. Before joining CCMH last fall, Dr. Horn was an active member of the medical staff at Hanover General Hospital since 1979 where he served as medical director of the wound care clinic and performed general, peripheral vascular and thoracic surgery. He earned a medical degree at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and completed a surgical residency at Hershey Medical Center. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a member of the Fellow American College of Surgeons, York County Medical Society, Pennsylvania Medical Society, and Hershey Surgical Society.

Wound Center patients receive diagnostic and therapeutic approaches to wounds that have resisted healing. More than 3 million Americans have chronic wounds that won’t heal due to diabetes, poor circulation or other conditions.

Charles Cole’s Wound Care Center is located on the ground floor of the Irwin Medical Arts Center. For appointments, call 814/260-5540.
