Man Sentenced in Friend's Death

A Cattaraugus, New York, man has been sentenced to two to six years in prison for vehicular manslaughter.

42-year-old Michael Andrews was driving while intoxicated on January 2, 2008, on the Ellicottville-Maples Road in the Town of Mansfield when he crashed his vehicle, killing his passenger, 46-year-old Joseph Sebastiani of Otto, New York.

He had originally been charged with criminally negligent homicide.

Andrews' driver's license was also revoked. His blood alcohol content at the time of the accident .13 percent. He had two DWIs in the preceding 10 years.
