Zach Foster is an All-Star
Bradford native Zach Foster is one of three members of the State College Spikes named to represent the National League in the New York-Penn League All-Star Game.
Foster, a right-handed pitcher, who was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 49th round of the 2008 draft, is currently 2-0 with a 1.10 ERA in 13 relief appearances with the Spikes.
The other two players are infielder Brock Holt and right-handed pitcher Phillip Irwin.
The game is Tuesday at Medlar Field in State College.
