Haggie Arraigned, Sent to Jail

Murder suspect Thomas Haggie was arraigned this afternoon at District Judge Rich Luther's office.

Haggie was arrested in Elmira, New York, Monday night in connection with the Sunday night murder of 21-year-old Megan Konopka in a room at the Riddell House. Konopka was 8 ½ months pregnant.

Still wearing an orange jumpsuit from the Chemung County Jail, Haggie was arraigned on charges of criminal homicide, criminal homicide of an unborn child, conspiracy to commit homicide and conspiracy to commit homicide of an unborn child.

Haggie was taken to McKean County Jail in Smethport, where the other suspect, Greggory Theobald, has been since Monday morning.

there is no right, no wrong, just pain for all involed in this terrible tragedy. the hatemail that i have read frightens me more than the crime. hate is volutary. how do we know the crime was. pray for us all. hate is a nazi. do u want others to believe that u r one. paul

well Paul, Thomas has done plenty of wrong! he is a nazi! he even wears the tattoo proudly! on both his shoulders!
Hw truly is a MONSTER! I think people use this to vent and when your hurt by such tragic events u lash out! do you know Thomas? cause he was bringing my niece down for 2 years! he was 25 and her 17! thats wrong! he robbed her of 2 years and poor megan! wow paul!

Woman Charged with Posting
Nude Picture on Facebook

A Falconer, New York, woman is facing charges after allegedly posting a naked photo of a Warren woman on Facebook. Police say 22-year-old Lindsay Head posted the picture without the consent of the 21-year-old victim, who is dating Head's ex-boyfriend. Head is charged with dispersing obscene and sexual materials. The picture has been removed from Facebook.

Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
