More Information Released on Skeletal Remains Found in Sept.

The Cattaraugus County sheriff's Office is looking for help in the identification of skeletal remains found on the shore line of the Allegheny Reservoir on September 26.

A forensic exam showed that the remains are of a female between the ages of 25 and 45, but likely 30 to 40. She was 5' 1" to 5' 8" with a small build and probably weighed 105 to 125 pounds.

It has also been suggested that the remains have been in the water from one to five years.

An exam also revealed that a single rib shows evidence of a healed fracture, and there was a broken left tibia.

The remains were found with one size 6 left winter boot made of tan suede. The boot is fleece-lined and made in China under the brand name Hotcakes.

Dental records are on file with the Erie County Medical Examiner's Office for comparison and DNA is being obtained for the FBI's Combined DNA Index System (CODIS).

Woman Charged with Posting
Nude Picture on Facebook

A Falconer, New York, woman is facing charges after allegedly posting a naked photo of a Warren woman on Facebook. Police say 22-year-old Lindsay Head posted the picture without the consent of the 21-year-old victim, who is dating Head's ex-boyfriend. Head is charged with dispersing obscene and sexual materials. The picture has been removed from Facebook.

Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
