Investigation Into Fire is Continuing
State Police are still looking into the cause of the fire that heavilly damaged the West Pike Motor Inn on Route 6 in Galeton Sunday morning.
The say a tenant reported the fire at about 6:30 a.m.
The entire structure was heavily damaged by fire, smoke and the collapse of the second story. Damage is estimated at more than $150,000.
Co-owner Ronda Youndt and seven tenants who were occupyng four apartments escaped without injury.
Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact state police in Emporium.
