Leadership Promotions at BRMC's
McKean County Dental Center

Gregory McCraith, D.D.S., Chief of Dental Medicine at Olean General Hospital’s Gundlah Dental Center, has also been named Chief of Dental Medicine at Bradford Regional Medical Center’s (BRMC’s) McKean County Dental Center, located at 600 Chestnut St.

Additionally, Colette McCaslin, office manager at the Gundlah Dental Center, will take on the added responsibilities of managing the McKean County Dental Center.

The promotion announcement was made by David Kobis, BRMC’s Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Bradford Regional Medical Center and Olean General Hospital are members of Upper Allegheny Health System.

“For operational and clinical continuity between both dental centers, Dr. Gregory McCraith will also serve as Chief of Dental Medicine and Colette McCaslin as office manager at the McKean County Dental Center,” Mr. Kobis said. “It will be very beneficial to have the same leadership and direction for both dental centers. Dr. McCraith and Colette have the experience and ability to help fully integrate the two dental facilities to ensure outstanding dental care is provided to our patients in both Bradford and Olean,” Mr. Kobis said.

Both dental centers now use the same electronic medical record system called Dentrix, which allows patients to be treated in either center without having to copy or fax medical records back and forth. Additionally, dentists at each center have been credentialed and licensed to work in both Pennsylvania and New York, which provide for enhanced dentist coverage and availability. The McKean Dental Center recently expanded its clinic hours to 10 hours per day, five days a week.

Dr. McCraith joined Olean General as director of the Gundlah Dental Center in 2007. Later that same year, he was named Chief of Dental Medicine at the Gundlah Dental Center.

He earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 1985 from the University at Buffalo’s School of Dentistry.

Mrs. McCaslin started her dental career in 1993 as a dental assistant. In 2003, she joined the McKean County Dental Center and then accepted an office position three years later to help launch the Gundlah Dental Center. She was promoted to supervisor and then as office manager at the Gundlah Dental Center.

She attended Alfred State College to study executive secretarial and accounting.

The McKean County Dental Center offers dental screenings, routine dental cleanings, preventative and restorative care, fluoride treatments and patient education. The dental center’s operating hours are 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. The center also takes emergency and walk-in patients.
