SBU Golfer is Co-Performer of the Week

St. Bonaventure men’s golf senior Nathan Peck (Tecumseh, Ontario/L’Essor Secondary) was named the Atlantic 10 Co-Performer of the Week for the second time in the spring season on Monday afternoon after posting a fifth-place finish at the Navy Spring Invitational this past weekend.

Peck’s ninth career top five finish featured a one-over par 72 in the opening round and a four-over par 75 in Sunday’s final round. Peck finished in a four-way tie for fifth place out of the field of 104. The Tecumseh, Ontario product led the field with 26 pars and ranked tied for second in par 4 scoring (+2).

Peck has finished in the top 20 of all four spring events, highlighted by three top 10s. With six rounds of 72 or lower out of his last 10 rounds, Peck sports a 72.5 stroke average in his final spring season. With two tournaments still remaining, Peck has equaled last year’s career-high of seven top 20 finishes and has five top 10s.

St. Bonaventure will be back in action with its final tune up before the A-10 Championships when it heads to State College, Pa. for the Penn State Rutherford Intercollegiate. The three-round tournament will begin on Saturday, April 24 with 36 holes.
