Fredonia Woman Hurt in Sunday Crash

A Fredonia woman suffered a possible neck injury in an accident Sunday evening in the Town of Arkwright.

In an e-mail sent to WESB and The HERO, Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies say 20-year-old Jeffery McSkimming of Derby didn’t stop at an intersection at hit another vehicle.

The other driver, 37-year-old Molly Merrill, was taken by Starflight to ECMC in Buffalo for treatment of her injuries.

Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
