Fun with Oobleck

Rainbow Corner Preschool teacher Kimberly Engstrom (center) helps a group of Summer Fun Camp participants make Oobleck during their final morning’s activities Friday. Thirteen children took part in the camp, which ran Tuesday through Friday and was held at the CARE for Children offices at 20 Russell Boulevard. Throughout the week, they were able to enjoy fun activities provided by the Penn State Cooperative Extension and CARE for Children staff. Activities included arts and crafts, animal tracking and water fun. Registration is now being accepted for Rainbow Corner Preschool’s fall session, which is scheduled to begin Tuesday, September 7. There are openings in both the morning and afternoon sessions. Please contact CARE for Children for more information.
