Motorists Keep Bradford Police Busy

Motorists – on the road and parked – kept Bradford City Police busy on Thursday. They investigated motor vehicles accidents at Oxford Street and Oakwood Avenue, and at Bolivar Drive and Seaward Avenue. They also got a traffic/road complaint on North Kendall Avenue and parking complaints from Avenue B, Elm Street, Merrow Avenue, Interstate Parkway and East Main Street, and a report of an erratic driver on Mechanic Street.

Also according to the complaint report and request sheet faxed to WESB and The HERO by the police department, officers got reports of a dispute on South Avenue, harassment on High Street and criminal mischief on Davis Street. They were also called to a couple of domestic disputes and received several requests to speak with an officer.

Cars/trucks/SUVs can be seen parked straddled over curb on both sidewalk and School Street beside School Street Elementary School daily during the school-week, awaiting student discharge from classes while multiple school buses line up to carry some students to homes outside Bradford city. What should be a safe and spacious sidewalk area in front of SSES is instead simply now linear space between encroaching vehicles and school walled yard.

Woman Charged with Posting
Nude Picture on Facebook

A Falconer, New York, woman is facing charges after allegedly posting a naked photo of a Warren woman on Facebook. Police say 22-year-old Lindsay Head posted the picture without the consent of the 21-year-old victim, who is dating Head's ex-boyfriend. Head is charged with dispersing obscene and sexual materials. The picture has been removed from Facebook.

Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. Police also learned there was an active warrant against him from City of Jamestown Court. He was sent to Chautauqua County Jail on $1,000 bail. The news leader of the Twin Tiers ... since 1947
