Sex Offender Gets Seven Years in Prison

An Olean man has been sentenced to 7 years in prison for having sex with a child younger than 13.

34-year-old Timothy Jerge had sex with the child between 2004 and 2009 in the city of Olean.

Jerge will also be on probation for 10 years when get gets out of prison.

District Attorney Lori Rieman said she would like to thank St. Michael Marsfelder and Officer Sean Paar of the Olean Police as well as the Southern Tier Child Advocacy Center for their hard work on the case.

Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
