Updates on Some Wednesday Accidents

A Duke Center woman wasn’t hurt in a crash at 6:18 Wednesday night on Route 546 in Otto Township, about half a mile south of the New York State line.

Police say an SUV driven by 45-year-old Becky Bacha went out of control on the snow-covered road, fishtailed and rolled onto its passenger side.

Police say Bacha was wearing her seatbelt.

An East Smethport man suffered minor injuries in an accident at about 3:30 Wednesday afternoon on Route 46 in Norwich Township.

Police say an SUV driven by 41-year-old Clifton Lunn was just north of Cameron County when it went out of control on the snow-covered road, traveled across both lanes, went into a ditch and got stuck in the mud.

Lunn was taken to Charles Cole Memorial Hospital for treatment.

A Coudersport man escaped injury in weather-related accident Wednesday morning in Warren County.

Police say 61-year-old Patrick Lagerstedt was on Route 59 when his vehicle went out of control on the snow-covered road, swerved across both lanes of travel, left the road, hit several large rocks and turned onto its passenger side.

Police say Lagerstedt was wearing his seatbelt.

Woman Charged with Posting
Nude Picture on Facebook

A Falconer, New York, woman is facing charges after allegedly posting a naked photo of a Warren woman on Facebook. Police say 22-year-old Lindsay Head posted the picture without the consent of the 21-year-old victim, who is dating Head's ex-boyfriend. Head is charged with dispersing obscene and sexual materials. The picture has been removed from Facebook.

Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. Police also learned there was an active warrant against him from City of Jamestown Court. He was sent to Chautauqua County Jail on $1,000 bail. The news leader of the Twin Tiers ... since 1947
