All US Flags at Half-Staff on Sunday

All US and Pennsylvania flags at state buildings will be flown at half-staff on Sunday to recognize National Peace Officers Memorial Day.

Private homes and businesses are also encouraged to fly flags at half-staff.

On Friday, fallen police officers from this region were honored in St. Marys. Those remembered included Dave Distrola of Bradford, Steve Jerman of Kane and Carl Whippo of Johnsonburg.

Thanks so much for this notice. I wasn't able to go to St. Marys. Also renenber to pray for the families of the fallen officers on this day.

Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
