Alleged Bottle Bomber in Court
One of the men indicted for the fire-bombing of an Allegany apartment in October has pleaded not guilty to those charges, and to drug charges in a separate case.
21-year-old Gary Coleman is one of six people charged with assault and arson for throwing a Molotov cocktail in an apartment where several St. Bonaventure University students were living on October 17.
The second indictment charges Coleman for criminal sale and possession of a controlled substance. On December 8, in Olean, he allegedly possessed and sold crack cocaine. On December 15, in Olean, he allegedly possessed and sold methadone.
Coleman is jailed on $200,000 bail.
One person has already been sentenced in the bottle-bombing case. Another is scheduled to be sentenced next Monday. Three others have pleaded not guilty.
