National Fuel Raising Rate
National Fuel is raising its rate by nearly 10 percent starting Monday.
This increase raises the monthly bill of a typical residential customer
from $84to $93.
National Fuel’s Nancy Taylor says the primary reason for the change is an increase in the charges the company must pay to bring the gas supply to the service area. She also says the cost of gas is slightly higher than predicted.
In January, National Fuel said it expected to raise the rates by 8.6 percent.
