Attempted Homicide Suspect Arraigned

A Bradford man has been arraigned on attempted criminal homicide and other charges for allegedly stabbing another man in the throat and neck.

25-year-old Randon Black is accused of stabbing David Kelsey multiple times and cutting his throat and neck with a black-handled K-Bar knife at about 2:30 this morning on Tibbetts Avenue.

Black was found at his grandmother’s house on Willard Avenue at about 8 o’clock this morning. After being read his rights, he told police he stabbed Kelsey and that blood got on his face and clothes, and that he removed it at his grandmother’s house.

Black was arraigned by District Judge Dominic Cercone, and sent to jail without bail.

After the arraignment District Attorney Ray Learn said he didn’t know what Kelsey’s condition is, but that he is in an out-of-town hospital.

Woman Charged with Posting
Nude Picture on Facebook

A Falconer, New York, woman is facing charges after allegedly posting a naked photo of a Warren woman on Facebook. Police say 22-year-old Lindsay Head posted the picture without the consent of the 21-year-old victim, who is dating Head's ex-boyfriend. Head is charged with dispersing obscene and sexual materials. The picture has been removed from Facebook.

Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. Police also learned there was an active warrant against him from City of Jamestown Court. He was sent to Chautauqua County Jail on $1,000 bail. The news leader of the Twin Tiers ... since 1947
